Matthew graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Science (Osteopathy) and a Master of Health Science (Osteopathy). Since graduating, he has continued to expand his clinical knowledge through further professional development, including training in Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and Neuromodulation. He is passionate about combining evidence-based practice with a personalised approach to help patients achieve lasting results.
Having experienced numerous sporting injuries throughout his own sporting journey, Matthew developed an appreciation for the role osteopathy plays in recovery, performance, and injury prevention. This experience inspired his passion for helping others return to the activities they enjoy with confidence.
Matthew enjoys treating patients of all ages and has a particular interest in musculoskeletal injuries, rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, and movement optimisation. He believes in identifying and addressing the underlying cause of pain rather than simply treating symptoms, using a combination of hands-on osteopathic techniques, exercise prescription, taping, and adjunctive therapies including EMS shockwave and laser therapy where appropriate.
Matthew is committed to providing individualised care, working closely with each patient to develop tailored management plans that align with their goals, lifestyle, and long-term health.
Outside the clinic, Matthew enjoys strength training, staying active, and keeping up to date with the latest research and advances in osteopathic and musculoskeletal care to continually refine his clinical practice.
