Jacqueline (Jacqui) Capel is a caring and dedicated Osteopath with a heartfelt passion for supporting families through all stages of life. She graduated from Victoria University in 2011 and has since built a diverse and enriching career both in Australia and abroad. During her five years of Osteopathic study, Jacqui gained valuable experience working alongside AFL teams, as a pool lifeguard, respite carer, and anatomy lecturer. These early experiences shaped her holistic approach to care — one that values connection, understanding, and empowering patients to take an active role in their health.

Jacqui’s love for paediatrics led her to London, where she completed her postgraduate diploma at the world-renowned Osteopathic Centre for Children (OCC). After graduating, she was honoured to be invited to work directly with the OCC’s founder under his mentorship for a further two years — an experience that deepened her skills and passion for helping children and families thrive.

While in London, Jacqui also worked in specialised feeding clinics alongside lactation consultants, helping babies and their parents navigate challenges such as feeding difficulties, head shape changes, postural imbalances, digestive discomfort, and sleep issues. She also joined Whole Child Therapy, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, psychologists, and play therapists. Together, they supported children with a range of developmental and behavioural needs, including Autism, ADHD, sensory and auditory processing difficulties, retained primitive reflexes, postural weaknesses, and coordination challenges. Jacqui found great joy in empowering parents with tools and understanding to support their child’s growth and wellbeing.

Her time in Europe also provided opportunities to attend advanced training and conferences in pregnancy care, visceral techniques, and biodynamic osteopathy — expanding her knowledge of how to support the body’s natural balance throughout life.

Outside the clinic, Jacqui is a proud mum to three energetic young boys who keep her on her toes with endless games, puzzles, and adventures. She loves travel, theatre, staying active, and cherishes every moment of family life.

A lifelong learner, Jacqui is also a qualified health coach and is currently completing a 9-month mentorship to become a Reconnected Birthing Practitioner, enabling her to further support women through pregnancy, birth, and post-partum recovery.

At the heart of Jacqui’s practice is a genuine love for helping families feel supported, confident, and cared for. Whether working with newborns, children, or parents, she brings warmth, empathy, and a wealth of experience to every appointment.
